What Are You Waiting For?

20 May 2018

“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” – Brene Brown

There’s something you want. Someone you want to be. What are you waiting for?

I get it. Trust me, I know how intimidating it is to open yourself up to the world. Not even really just the world so much as those close around, in my opinion. Because the people across the globe- they don’t know you. These people across the hall with their snickers and their stares… they think they do.

But they don’t. Nobody that is able to see you with your heart on the line and laugh could possibly know you. They couldn’t have possibly seen what’s inside your heart and determined that mockery was appropriate in any way. If they can do that, well you shouldn’t mind at all what they think. It is obvious that their hearts are not in the right place.

Envy is green for a reason. When someone sees another doing so very well, it makes them sick with jealousy. Not healthy. Because this feeling is not a good thing. These people are speaking out of illness; therefore, you should not feel ashamed. Do not halt your ambitions because someone else’s sin of pride is allowing them to throw up on all of your hard work.

Negativity thrives in today’s world, and I am so very sad because of it. People will be nasty no matter what. All you can do is choose to focus on the support and the love you’re receiving from around you. Use it as fuel to the fire that I see inside of you. You’re meant for something so extraordinary. Never allow someone else to make you feel ordinary.

If you continue to put your heart and your soul into what you’re doing, it will pay off. I promise. There will be ups and there will be downs, but this is your dream that we are speaking of. This is your life. Your future. Your legacy.

Yours. Not theirs.

It is hard to accomplish your dream, and for others, it is not an option. For you, though, it is. Because it is yours. You have been crafted carefully with the skill set you require for your path. He has put you against absolutely nothing that He has not first made sure you can handle. They have their own skill set for their own dream, and I do hope that they reach it as well. It is not our place to wish upon them anything less than what God has intended for them.

But back to you. I know it seems impossible, but maybe this is the message that you are meant to see so that you now know that it is indeed quite possible. You were crafted by the same hands that created the earth, yet you want to tell me that you are not meant for exceptional things?

Tell me, what are you waiting for?

( Hello to my lovely followers!

In the past, I have done video messages. I was thinking of bringing in a video message possibly once every week or so now that the hustle and bustle has decreased to just a hustle. You all really enjoyed the videos, but I had made the mistake of omitting my writings, so it threw me off kilter.

Please, comment or go to my Facebook page, Taelyn Writes, to vote on the poll. Go ahead and give the page a follow/like if you’d like to keep up with my writings, possibly videos, and much more posts about positive happenings and things I adore. Thank you! )
