“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
Today, our Savior was mocked, mutilated, and nailed to the cross.
He took on our sins, our mistakes. He openly accepted what should have been our consequences.
Our Savior, Jesus Christ, will not ever die. He will remain eternal through the word of the Bible and through the Heavens.
I will continue to throw my hands to the sky in absolute surrender to the Man I owe so much more than just my life. I owe Him everything.
Because He was savagely and mercilessly killed, I live.
He is the air I breathe and every single song I have the blessing to sing.
For that reason, I owe Him my heart, my soul, my everything.
I will follow his word. Being that I will love Him, my neighbors, and then I will love myself. I will not forget any of these three no matter how dark my days get because He is the light, and in Him I will find my salvation.
Be fearless, courageous, and loving. Do all of these with Jesus Christ in your heart, and you cannot fail.
Your King is alive. Not even death could defeat Him. Therefore, do not let any earthly obstacle defeat you.
Jesus died for you.
He knows the greatness you hold and the plans He has for you. Understand that you are so much more than mere flesh to Him.
You are beautiful, and you are loved with a love so undeniably strong that not even death can beat it.
The grave is empty, the stone rolled aside.
Your chains have been broken. Jesus took them with Him to the cross. They are dead.
Your sins, your mistakes, they are gone because He took responsibility, and He gave you His life.
Goodness, are you not ecstatic?
That is your Savior!
Loving, beautiful, compassionate Savior.
Thank you’s do not do this great sacrifice justice, but I will continue to cry out my gratitude until the day I get to fall to my knees before You in person.
Life can be messy. Thank God I have my faith and my pencil.
